The Lawyer Behind Iron
Johanna McNulty spent the first decade of her legal career practicing law as a civil and construction litigator at Niagara's two largest law firms.
Built on the foundations of Johanna's passion for litigation and construction law and her vision of starting a boutique litigation and construction law practice in Niagara, Iron Law was born.
For Johanna, iron is not only a powerful symbol of strength, ingenuity and practicality, but it has always been the means of connecting the strength of the body and mind through her love of weightlifting.
Johanna approaches life and the practice of law with the same practical and thoughtful determination, as she tries to work closely with her clients to both understand their needs and alleviate their fears with her supportive and direct style.
Her practice and experiences have included high value, complex commercial, contractual, negligence, property and construction disputes for companies of various sizes, as well as individuals.
Johanna has made successful appearances before:
- the Ontario Court of Appeal,
- the Ontario Court of Justice,
- the Ontario Superior Court of Justice,
- the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Small Claims Court) and
- the Landlord and Tenant Board.
